I thought I'd post this video of the late, great Jeff Healey for this Music Monday. Healey lost his vision at eight months old due to a rare form of eye cancer. He began playing the guitar when he was three years old. As you can see, he had a unique way of playing it.
Just wanted to say Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there!
We could find many examples of strong mothers in the Bible, but I'll invite your attention to the Second Book of Timothy. Timothy was Paul's "spiritual son"--Paul saw his dedication to Christ and mentored him. Paul noted that Timothy's faith was influenced by two generations of women:
I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you.

Congrats to Erwin and Blessing on the birth of their new baby boy (one of the reasons we've taken a break from recording).
