Lights Out in Manila Tonight

Looks like Manila will turn off public lights tonight as part of that "earth hour" thing. Al Gore will be so proud!

I think it is interesting that the media here never mentions the other side of the global warming debate (if they have, I've never seen it). I wonder if any of my readers know that in 1975, some scientists were concerned about global cooling and a "drastic decline in food production." You can read the 1975 Newsweek article here.

global warming is natural, but that would be natural 'if' our environment is the same a before.

we could not stop global warming we can only lessen the damages.

and if it is a scam . who cares anyway?? just like how we believe on one religion, what ever you choose they offer good morals and right conduct. the same goes to green corp.

Anonymous,
I have no problem with cutting back on pollution, but some of the more extreme advocates expect us to feel guilty for driving cars--I'm not buying that.

If you think whatever you believe doesn't matter, then you have a very low view of truth.
